State Can Lead by Investing in Smart Growth

Through its investments and policies, state government can lead by example, promoting smart growth instead of sprawl.

Collaborative Activities

The Collaborative works to ensure state government policy, especially regulatory and tax policies and public infrastructure investments, support smart growth principles.  Collaborative members monitor state policies and practices, and work with state agencies on smart growth strategies  for housing, school siting, transportation and other growth and development issues.
